What's Happening:

RA Spring Campout
May 18-20

The RA's will be camping at Jellystone Park in Marion, NC.  They will be earning badges and having lots of fun.  The park features lots of activities including a pool, volleyball, fishing, horse shoes, badminton, a playground, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, mini golf and a water slide.  There will also be activities planned by the RA leaders.

Senior Adult Sunday
May 20

We will celebrate our Senior Adults and the work God is doing in and through the lives on Sunday, May 20.  Rev. Cline Borders will be preaching.  There will be a lunch in the CLC following the 11:00 service.  Then, the Keenage Choir will present a musical that evening at 6:00 that will feature songs of Bill & Gloria Gaither.


GriefShare
Summer dates

Over the summer months, GriefShare will meet once a month instead of on a weekly basis.  Weekly meetings will resume on September 9th.  GriefShare will meet at 4:00 pm at the regular meeting place (former youth house) on the following dates:  May 20, June 24, July 29, and August 19.

Laura Story Concert
May 25

C.A.S.T. and The C.R.E.W. are pleased to host Grammy and Dove Award winning Christian artist Laura Story at EBC on Friday, May 25th at 7:00 pm.  General admission tickets are available now for $15.  Tickets can be purchased in the church office during weekly office hours or on Sunday mornings after the morning worship services begining March 25.

Men's Ministry Dinner & Meeting
May 26

All men are invited to attend a men's ministry dinner on May 26 that will include a program of fellowship and planning.  A 2013 foreign mission trip among other topics will be covered.  Please contact Forrest Hoppes for more information.


Graduate Sunday
June 3

We will recognize our high school graduates on Sunday, June 3rd at the 11:00 service.  There will be a breakfast for the graduates and their families that morning.  If you are a graduate, please contact David Putnam about the information you must complete in order to participate in the recognition.


Blood Drive
June 7

The WMU is organizing a blood drive for Thursday, June 7 from 2:00-6:30 pm in the CLC.  You can contact Marie Gantt to make an appointment.


Vacation Bible School
June 22-24

This year we are doing a weekend VBS!  Kids will encounter God's awesome power at "Amazing Wonders Aviation."  VBS is for children age 3 to 6th grade (having just completed).  The schedule is Friday from 5:30-8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm (preschoolers dismiss at 1:00 pm), and Sunday 9:45 am-12:00 pm.  You may click here to pre-register your child.  Click here if you have any questions.  There will also be a Kick-Off Carnival starting at 6:00 on Wednesday night, June 20.
