Join in women's fellowship at dinner and watch Pride & Prejudice.  We'll have a Scripture-based discussion regarding the Christian values represented in the movie.  Sign up sheets will be posted for dinner or click here to sign up.  If you cannot come for dinner, you can still join us for the movie & discussion!

The Adult 5-1 Sunday School Class will be hosting a soup and sandwich lunch in the Christian Life Center on Sunday, Feb. 5th.  Serving begins at 10:45 am and ends at 1:00 pm.  The suggested donation is $7 per person, $3 for ages 5-11 and $1 for children under 5.  Carry-outs will be available.  There will also be a dessert auction!  Reservations are not required.  Proceeds will benefit the Close to Home missions projects of this Sunday School class.

The menu will include:  Potato soup, chili, grilled cheese soup, chicken & wild rice soup, santa fe soup, corn dogs for kids, grilled cheese sandwiches, grilled bologna sandwiches and homemade desserts.

The Adult 5-5 Sunday School class is hosting a spaghetti lunch on Feb. 19th, starting at 11:00 in the small dining room of the Christian Life Center.  Proceeds from this lunch will help provide 3-4 nights of respite care for Lynn Hamrick.  Donations for lunch will be accepted.

Friends & Family Night is a BBQ dinner and auction that will help support the two youth mission trips this summer.  The first mission trip is to Ft. Pierce/Vero Beach, Florida and will be for middle school students.  The second trip is to Lake Providence, Louisiana and will be for high school students.  The students will be doing paiting and roofing projects in two of the poorest areas in our country.

If you would like to help support our youth and the work they will do in these communities, you may purchase a ticket for dinner for $10.  Attendance at the auction is free.  Tickets may be purchased from the student welcome center or from any student participating on these trips.  A list of auction items will be posted here when available.  The event will be held in the new Christian Life Center.  Doors open at 4:30 and the dinner will start at 5:30.

Tickets are on sale now for the first concert in the new fellowship hall at EBC!  Purchase advance tickets for $10 or $15 tickets at the door.  Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 7:00 pm.

If you would like to decorate a table for the WMU Parade of Tables, please sign up on the list posted beside the church library.  Proceeds from this event will benefit the Heck-Jones offering for the NC Women's Missionary Union.  Tickets to attend the dinner will be sold by table hosts or hostesses.

Apples of Gold is a 6-week mentoring program for young married women.  Women in later stages of life mentor younger ladies in areas of life where young women usually need the most guidance and sometimes just a listening ear.  The groups meets for preparing and enjoying meals together.  For more information, please contact Linda Fern or click here.
