Sunday School is our bible teaching ministry for everyone of every age. We utilize LifeWay curriculum to teach children the Bible in age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate ways. Children are taught what it means to be a Christian...how to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and how to live as a follower of Jesus. They benefit from the guidance of adult leaders and a peer group of Christian friends.

Nerve-to-Serve (N2S) helps nurture in children a compassion for others through the teaching of Scripture and hands-on ministry activities conducted for the church and for the community. N2S is for 1st-6th graders and meets on Sunday nights from 5:30-7:00.

Mission Friends teaches mission attitudes and concepts to preschoolers. Preschoolers participate in developmentally and age-appropriate learning activties and experiences that help set the beginning stage for a missions lifestyle. Preschoolers learn by doing so as they participate in activities that provide repetition, stir curiousity, create a sense of accomplishment, help develop relationships, encourage investigation, and use their senses, they learn to help others, work together, pray, give, and tell others about God's love and His Son, Jesus.

We provide loving care and attention for infants to 3-year olds in our preschool rooms during each of our Sunday worship services (8:30 am, 11:00 am & 6:00 pm). We have separate classes for infants, toddlers & 3-year olds. Our nursery is staffed by caring volunteers, all of whom have been approved through our Good Shepherd protection program. We have a pager system for notifying parents during the worship service if they are needed by their child.

Royal Ambassadors is missions education for boys in grades 1-6. RA's provides boys an opportunity to develop Christian character through missions involvment and virtue commitments, in addition to growing spiritually, physically, mentally, and in relationships with others. RA leaders utilize activities that are designed to help boys learn about God's mission, participate in on-mission experiences, pray for and give to missions, develop and use mission skills, and learn about and support the missions work of the church and denomination.

Children's Church is an extended Sunday School session for children ages 4 & 5. What the children learned in Sunday School is reinforced through bible story time and hands-on activities. Children's Church meets during the 11:00 worship service. Four & five year olds who want to attend Children's Church are dismissed with adult leaders within the first 15 minutes of the worship service.

Girls in Action is our missions discipleship organization for girls in grades 1-6. Through GA's, girls learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. Girls have opportunities for hands-on ministry experiences, to develop leadership skills, to learn about the biblical basis of missions, and to be mentored by godly women.

Steps Toward Jesus is a class for children (ages 6 & up) and their parent(s) to attend that is designed to present why and how to become a Christian. Children will hear in terms they can understand how to become a part of God's family, and then be given an opportunity to respond. Parents will be equipped for talking with their children about the gospel and be given homework to help them follow up on their child's response.

Baby Dedication is an event and a process. To find out more, please contact Blake Hooks, Minister to Children. Baby Dedication is offered two times a year (Jan. 14, 2012 and Aug. 18, 2012).
